Change

Change is hard. And breaking bad habits can seem impossible.

Last year my New Year’s resolution was to drive for Uber every weekend until my spring break to make enough money to pay for a trip to Italy.

Well, I did it! I set a money goal and actually exceeded it.

But, I developed some bad habits during all those late nights! I really enjoyed myself in 2019! And now my clothes are all too tight haha. It’s like my January Whole30 never happened! But hey, you only live once! And Italy was amazing!

Now it’s January again! And just saying 2020 sounds exciting! While there is plenty of ridiculousness going on in our world today, my resolution this year is to try and focus more on the things that I can actually control.

I can exercise more, eat better, say “NO” more often, and reject things and people in my life that stress me out!

So, here’s to 2020! And another Whole30 reset this January!

Knowing what I accomplished last time, I’m looking forward to the challenge of creating tasty meals that fall within the strict guidelines.

I’m also on more of a budget this year! So that will force me to be more disciplined as well!

Here’s to breaking bad habits and learning from our mistakes!

Here’s to more energy, less aches and pains, clearer skin, better sleep, and all around happier days!
